Hotel Meridiana is located in the historical city centre of Florence near Piazza della Libertá and the Fortezza da Basso Exhibition Centre. The Duomo and other major landmarks are all within easy walking distance.

How to Get to the City Center Hotel Meridiana Florence

By Train: Florence's main railway station, Santa Maria Novella, is only a 25 minute walk away. Simply walk up Via Nazionale to Piazza della Libertá, cross the piazza and continue up Viale Don Minzoni - the hotel is at number 25 on the right.

By Car: The Hotel Meridiana is happy to arrange private parking in a nearby garage located behind the hotel. Please let us know if you will be arriving by car so we may arrange parking. A small supplement is applicable for this service.

By Air: The Air Terminal for Florence Vespucci Airport is located near the railway station of Santa Maria Novella. If arriving at Pisa International Airport, the main airport in Tuscany, then we suggest you take the frequent train from Pisa to Florence, as a taxi from Pisa will be very expensive - at least 90 Euro.

Public Transport Connections

By Bus: Buses pass approximately every 3 minutes from 5:30 am until midnight. During the small hours a night bus service is available stopping only a few metres from the hotel entrance.

Courtesy Bus: During the busiest fairs and large congresses a free courtesy bus may be provided to and from the exhibition centre. The Fortezza da Basso, Florence's main trade and exhibition centre, is only 500 metres from the Hotel Meridiana.
